Panagia tis Tinou — annual, August 15 (Dormition of the Virgin), Greece's largest religious pilgrimage. Tens of thousands of pilgrims travel to the Church of Panagia Evangelistria (Megalochari) on Tinos to venerate the miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary; festivities run through about August 23.
