Armata of Spetses — annual, second weekend of September. Spectacular re-enactment of the island's 1822 naval victory over the Ottoman fleet, staged in the Old Harbour with a mock sea battle and the burning of a replica Ottoman flagship, followed by fireworks, concerts and celebrations.
