Byzantine-rite church in Valletta founded to house the icon of Our Lady of Damascus brought from Rhodes by Greeks of the Knights of St John; completed 1580, rebuilt after 1942 bombing and reconsecrated 1951. Used today by Greek, Melkite, Armenian, Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian communities.
